It's been a long day, but definitely worth the planning and journey it's been. The GR airport lost my ID, and claim they never found it. I was in a horrible wreck this morning because of this. 20 minutes later, the security lady brought it down to me, and never apologized. I swear the TSA people are the rudest people ever also!
The beautiful drive from the airport to the Villa was so pretty. I totally fell in love. I didn't get a chance to take pictures of what I saw because the taxi driver and I got to talking about the beauty of the city. this is definitely my new vacation spot that I'll have to return every year. I went grocery shopping for Mary and I...goodness! It is expensive!
I got a chance to take a tour of the Ernest Hemmingway House. Sounds touristy, but the beauty of the house is just breath taking. I totally love it. Those darn cats annoyed me, but that's why the house has so much character.
This is our own entrance to our villa. In the front there, there are 4 chairs sitting on the porch so we can sit and relax. |

I'll update with the pictures from the Hemmingway House later. I stopped off to get post cards to send to some friends and I stopped off at this little shop which I can't think of the name at the moment. The owner recommended having dinner at Flap Jack's and for me to try the shrimp club. So I took up his offer and it was amazing. Then again, I was super hungry. And YES! I got lost in Key West Already! Over all, I love the atmosphere here, the people here are super nice and very laid back. Definitely a must visit place for those who have not been to Key West!
I'll update later...I'm off to venture out to see more of the city!
